After some users complained about the fact that Songs of Innocence by U2 had been automatically downloaded to their devices without their permission Apple has provided a one-click removal tool.
Bono, lead singer of U2 acknowledged at the time that not everyone would appreciate or want the album. "People who haven`t heard our music, or weren`t remotely interested, might play us for the first time because we`re in their library," he wrote.
Apple had paid for the giveaway with some reports suggesting that this was paid with advertising.
The album itself has done well with Rolling Stone Magazine giving it their maximum score of 5 out of 5.
